Odometer readings are an important part of a vehicle’s history because it indicates how much a vehicle has been driven, which can impact its condition and value. The last reported odometer reading shown on this report is the most recent record received by CARFAX Canada. The current odometer reading on the vehicle could be different from what’s reported here, so checking the physical odometer on the vehicle is the best way to verify the mileage.
This vehicle history report is based on information (https://www.carfax.ca/vehicle-history-data) that was reported and available to CARFAX Canada as of August 23, 2024 (or once all the data was collected from our data sources and the report was complete). CARFAX Canada draws on billions of data records from thousands of sources across North America, and we receive new historical data records every day. There may be other information about this vehicle that has not been reported to CARFAX Canada. When buying a used vehicle, we always recommend using a CARFAX Canada Vehicle History Report, along with a vehicle inspection and test drive, to make an informed decision.
There are many ways that a vehicle can sustain damage, but it typically falls into one of two categories: a motor vehicle accident (where the vehicle collides with another vehicle, a tree, an animal, etc.), or other damage which can include things like hail damage, fire, vandalism, etc. In either case, damage can range from minor (scratches, dings, etc.) to severe (broken axles, bent frame, etc.).

In Canada, when a vehicle is registered with the Ministry of Transportation, “branding” is applied to classify the condition of the vehicle. Salvage, Rebuilt, Junk and Non-Repairable are examples of negative vehicle branding in Canada. In the U.S., when a vehicle is registered with the Department of Motor Vehicles, a “title” is applied to classify the condition of the vehicle. Salvage, Junk, Rebuilt, Fire, Flood, Hail and Lemon are examples of negative vehicle titles in the U.S. To understand more about each brand/title, refer to the glossary at carfax.ca/glossary.
This vehicle has been registered in the province of Ontario in Canada with Normal branding.
We checked for: Inspection Required, Normal, Non-repairable, Rebuilt, Salvage and Stolen.
Recall notices are issued when the manufacturer or transportation authority detects a potential safety issue or defect with a group of vehicles. This section outlines any open (unfixed) safety recalls on the vehicle that have been reported to CARFAX Canada. Previous safety recalls that have already been fixed (closed) will not show in this section.
Recall Description
The accelerator pedal may, in certain circumstances, interfere with the raised feature on an all-weather floor mat, possibly inhibiting the accelerator pedal from promptly repositioning to a lesser depressed position after the driver releases pressure on the accelerator pedal.
Remedy
FCA US will conduct a voluntary safety recall to replace the driver floor mat with a floor mat with a new design to mitigate the potential for interference with the accelerator pedal on all affected vehicles. FCA US has a longstanding policy and practice of reimbursing owners who have incurred the cost of repairing a problem that subsequently becomes the subject of a field action. To ensure consistency, FCA US, as part of the owner letter, will request that customers send the original receipt and/or other adequate proof of payment to the company for confirmation of the expense.
This recall was open as of the date/time that this report was generated. For more information, or to find out if the recall has been closed, please contact RAM or visit Ram's website. (https://www.mopar.com/en-ca/my-vehicle/recalls/search.html)
If the vehicle is currently reported as stolen, we’ll let you know in this section. If the vehicle was previously stolen (at any point during its life) and was recovered, it won’t be reflected here.
