Recall Description
WHEN OPERATED IN ENVIRONMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH ROAD SALT USE, ONE OR MORE OF THE THREE STEERING GEAR MOTOR BOLTS MAY FRACTURE DUE TO CORROSION.

Remedy
FORD MOTOR COMPANY HAS AUTHORIZED YOUR DEALER TO REMOVE THE ORIGINAL STEERING GEAR MOTOR BOLTS, INSTALL REVISED BOLTS, AND APPLY CORROSION INHIBITOR TO SPECIFIED AREAS OF THE STEERING GEAR. IF ANY OF THE ORIGINAL STEERING GEAR MOTOR BOLTS ARE BROKEN, MISSING OR BREAK DURING REMOVAL, DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE STEERING GEAR ASSEMBLY. ALL SERVICES WILL BE PERFORMED FREE OF CHARGE (PARTS AND LABOR).

Recall Description
IN SOME OF THE AFFECTED VEHICLES, BRAKE FLUID MAY LEAK FROM ONE OR BOTH FRONT BRAKE FLEXIBLE HOSES. IF THE BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR IS DEPLETED BELOW A PREDETERMINED LEVEL, THE BRAKE FLUID WARNING INDICATOR LIGHT WILL ILLUMINATE.

Remedy
FORD MOTOR COMPANY IS WORKING CLOSELY WITH ITS SUPPLIERS TO PRODUCE PARTS FOR THIS REPAIR. WHEN PARTS BECOME AVAILABLE, FORD MOTOR COMPANY WILL NOTIFY YOU VIA MAIL TO SCHEDULE A SERVICE APPOINTMENT WITH YOUR DEALER FOR REPAIRS TO BE COMPLETED FREE OF CHARGE (PARTS AND LABOR). PARTS ARE ANTICIPATED TO BE AVAILABLE 4TH QUARTER 2020.
